Contest Dates and Times
The Contest begins on December 5th, 2025 at 10am PST and ends on January 25th, 2025 at 5pm PST (the Contest End Date), after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries will be accepted.
However, the Contest may close earlier than the stated Contest End Date if the maximum number of entries is reached before that time. Once the maximum number of entries has been received, the Contest will be closed, and no additional entries will be accepted, regardless of the time or date.
How to Enter
1. Purchase of Eligible Product:
With a purchase of an eligible product, participants will receive one entry per item. All purchases must be made, and payment received in full, by 5 PM PST on the contest end date.
Eligible products for this contest include t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and steer skull charms. Only products purchased during the contest period are eligible. Previous and future purchases do not qualify.
Entry Number Selection: Each entry will have a number associated with it. Entrants may choose a number for their entry prior to completing the purchase.
Number Reservation: The selected number will be reserved and associated with the entrant’s transaction once the purchase is finalized, and payment is received in full.
First-Come, First-Served Basis: The entry number will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If the chosen number has already been selected by another entrant, the entrant will be asked to choose a different number.
Time Limit for Number Reservation: Once the entrant's number is confirmed, they must complete their purchase within 12 hours. If the purchase is not completed within this time frame, the selected number reservation will be forfeited, and the number will be made available for other entrants to choose.
2. No Purchase Necessary Option:
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
To enter without making a purchase, participants must submit a handwritten essay of at least 200 words on the topic: “Why I'd Like To Win.” The essay must be written on the back of a 6” x 9” postcard with the contest name at the top. The front of the postcard must clearly include the entrant’s full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
Mail entries to:
PO Box 16, Kelowna BC, V4V 0B7
Postcards must be postmarked by the contest end date to be eligible. Limit one entry per envelope. For multiple entries, each must be submitted in a separate envelope with a unique handwritten essay on a separate postcard. Typed, printed, photocopied, or computer-generated essays will not be accepted. Essays written on any material other than the back of a 6” x 9” postcard (e.g., separate sheets of paper) will be disqualified.
Entry Numbers for Mail-In Entries: Entry numbers for mail-in submissions will be assigned randomly upon receipt, based on availability at the time of entry. Assigned numbers are final and cannot be changed.
Entry Limitations
The Contest is limited to a total of 560 entries combined across all entry methods. No additional entries will be accepted once this limit is reached. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the maximum number of entries is reached before the contest end date, the contest will close early, and no further entries will be accepted.
Contest Prize
There is a total of ONE (1) prize available to be won as follows: 1st place - 2025 Palomino AQHA Filly, with the registration name "CJC Blazin Shameless". Approximate prize value - ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($11,000)
All winners assume any and all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by entering, participating in this Contest or the use or redemption of a prize. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prizes or any portion of a prize cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or special offers. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an alternate prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize horse is injured or death occurs before transfer date.
Prize Substitution and Condition Terms
In the event that the prize horse becomes ill, injured, lame, or otherwise unsuitable for transfer prior to the winner taking possession or legal ownership being transferred, Ultimate Equine Ltd. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Substitute the original horse with another horse of similar value, type, and intended use;
- Offer a cash payout of up to the advertised prize value (not to exceed $11,000 CAD);
- Allow the winner to choose between: Accepting the original horse “as-is,” with full disclosure of the condition, or Accepting the substitute horse or cash payout offered. Any such change will be disclosed transparently to the winner. A veterinary assessment may be obtained and referenced, at the discretion of Ultimate Equine Ltd., to support any decision.
Minor Injury Definition:
A minor injury is defined as a temporary, treatable condition that:
- Has a clear treatment plan
- Has a strong prognosis for full recovery, and
- Does not impact the horse’s long-term soundness, rideability, or suitability for its intended use.
Examples include:
• Hoof abscesses
• Minor superficial cuts or scrapes
• Stone bruises
• Mild muscle strains
• Temporary swelling without lasting damage
These will not disqualify the horse as a prize and will be disclosed to the winner before transfer. The winner accepts that animals are living beings and that minor issues may arise unexpectedly. These do not automatically entitle the winner to a substitute or cash payout.
In contrast, major injuries or conditions that permanently affect soundness or suitability (e.g., fractures, severe lameness, tendon or ligament damage, neurological symptoms) will trigger substitution or cash payout provisions as outlined above.

Animal Welfare Responsibility
By entering this contest, entrants acknowledge and agree that the prize is a live animal and comes with a significant responsibility. The winner must have the knowledge, experience, and resources required to provide proper care, housing, and handling for the horse in accordance with accepted standards of animal welfare.
The Sponsor reserves the right to assess, at its sole discretion, the winner’s ability to care for the animal. If the Sponsor determines that the selected winner does not meet the necessary criteria to ensure the health and well-being of the horse, the winner may be disqualified, and an alternate eligible winner may be selected.
Horse Transport & Pickup:
Transport or pickup of the prize horse must take place within 14 days of the contest conclusion and winner announcement. After this 14-day period, the winner will be charged a boarding fee of $15 per day, payable to Ultimate Equine Ltd., until the horse is collected. The cost of transportation is solely upon the contest winner.
If the horse is not picked up within 45 days (1.5 months) after the contest conclusion, the prize will be considered forfeited at the sponsor’s sole discretion, and a new winner may be selected.
Boarding Fee Payment:
All boarding fees and any additional charges related to the horse’s care after the 14-day period must be paid directly to Ultimate Equine Ltd. Failure to make timely payments may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Post-Award Liability:
Once the winner is announced and ownership of the prize horse is legally transferred or possession is taken (whichever comes first), the sponsor assumes no further responsibility for the condition, health, injury, or death of the horse. No substitutions, replacements, or compensation will be provided for any issues arising after this point.
Eligibility and Forfeiture:
If the selected winner is found to be under the legal age of ownership, unable to provide suitable care for the horse (as determined by the sponsor or Ultimate Equine Ltd.), or in violation of any contest rule, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected through a redraw.
Ownership Transfer:
Ownership of the prize horse is considered transferred upon execution of the bill of sale or official transfer documents, or upon physical delivery to the winner—whichever occurs first. After legal transfer of ownership is completed, all liability of the horse will fall on the owner.
Skill-Testing Question
Selected Entrants will be required, as a condition of winning a prize, to correctly answer, within 24 hours, the Sponsor’s mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by Facebook Messenger or email. Failure to answer the question correctly or within the specified time frame will result in the forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner will be selected at the Sponsor’s discretion.

Before being declared the official winner, the Selected Entrant(s) must:
Correctly answer the Sponsor's skill-testing question (see Clause 7 for details);
Comply with all other Contest Rules, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
